For quiet slopes and excellent value, early December can be a wonderful time to hit the slopes.  Choose a higher resort such as Arc 1950, Alpe D'Huez or Val D'Isere where snow is generally reliable.

Christmas and New Year are a magical time for a family ski trip.  What better way to spend Christmas than skiing down snowy mountainsides?  

January is a great time for good snowfall and quieter slopes and what better way to beat the January blues?   For families, February half term is a popular time, but gets booked up quickly and can be pretty busy.

March and April are a great time to ski with young children and to enjoy long lunches in the sunshine.  Longer days mean more time on the slopes - win/win!
